Knights Templar degree

knights templar

Freemasonry mimics the two fundamental sacraments of the Christian Church - baptism and communion. It also copies the anointing with oil used within the Church as a bestowal of blessing or vindication of the Holy Spirit.

It performs a Christless esoteric baptism in the Prince of Mercy degree when Masons pour water over the candidate and foolishly assure him 'he has been purified'. It performs a blasphemous communion in the Knights Templar degree in which the candidate drinks drinks communion from a human skull-cap in a Christ-mocking occult ceremony. It further performs a spurious communion in the Holy Order of High Priesthood degree followed by an anointing with oil. This mocks the biblical anointing of believers in both the Old Testament and the New Testament which demonstrated the favour of God upon an individual.

The Knights Templar degree

In the Knights Templar degree the initiate drinks 5 symbolic libations (or toasts) during his Templar Order initiation ceremony. The first 4 are taken out of a goblet; the libations being to the memory of (1) King Solomon "our ancient grand master" (2) Hiram King of Tyre; "our ancient grand master" (3) Hiram Abiff "the widows son, who lost his life in defence of his integrity") (4) Simon of Cyrene, "the friend of our Saviour, who bore his cross, and fell a martyr to his faith."

(5) The fifth, and supreme, Knights Templar libation is made unto 'the unknown' and is performed in the vilest manner imaginable; an actual human skull-cap is placed in the hand of the candidate and he is caused to sup the content of such from this mystic cup. The fluid that is consumed from the top part of this human skull is normally bitter wine. Such is employed to vividly impress important occult teaching to the initiate. The candidate is told, "Pilgrim, the fifth libation is taken in a very solemn way. It is emblematical of the bitter cup of death, of which we must sooner or later, taste."

The fifth Knights Templar libation is called the sealed obligation because the candidate is never told to whom the fifth libation is drunk; it is rather 'sealed'.

Psalm 106:39-40, "Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions. Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance."

Evangelical authority and former occult High Priest and thirty-second degree Freemason William Schnoebelen in his book 'Masonry - Beyond the Light' declares, "This is a blasphemy on the Lord's Supper - an unholy parody almost as bad as the Satanic Mass. It is undoing the very covenant that Jesus began" (Matthew 26:28).

1 Corinthians 10:19-22 solemnly says, "What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils. Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?"

TEMPLAR VOW

The Knights Templar candidate is forced to swear, "If ever I wilfully violate this my solemn compact, as a brother Knights Templar, may my skull be sawn asunder with a rough saw, my brains taken out and put in a charger to be consumed by the scorching sun, and my skull in another charger, in memory of St. John of Jerusalem, that faithful soldier of our Lord and Saviour. If ever I wilfully deviate from this my solemn obligation, may my light be put out from among men, as that of Judas Iscariot was for betraying his Lord and Master."

A human skull is then placed in the candidate's hand.

He further declares, "Furthermore, may the soul that once inhabited this skull, as the representative of St. John the Baptist, appear against me in the day of judgement: so help me God and keep me steadfast in this my solemn obligation of a Knights Templar."

The US Knights Templar degree lecture sinks even lower, after drinking the final toast from a human skull, the candidates declares, "as the sins of the whole world were once visisted upon the head of our Saviour, so may all the sins of the person whose skull this once was, in addition to my own, be heaped upon my head, and may this libitation appear in judgement against me, should I ever knowingly or willingly violate my most solemn vow of a Knights Templar, so help me God" (US Manuel p. 206).

The Knights Templar's here amazingly equate the act of betraying their own highly secretive mystical occult Order to that of where Judas shamefully betrayed the Son of God - the Lord Jesus Christ. Such brazen arrogance reveals the, long-concealed, evil nature of this Templar Order and shows the contaminated fountainhead from whence it flows. Evidently, this wicked rhetoric finds its origin far outside the just domain of biblical Christianity.

Ironically, this unsavoury curse is directed towards anyone within their own membership who would simply dare to share their "Christian" teaching and practices with others.

Matthew 26 outlines Christ's betrayal by Judas Iscariot whilst He communed with His Father in the Garden of Gethsemane.

Verse 45-46 records Christ's solemn words to His disciples just prior to His final arrest in the garden, saying, "behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth betray me."

The narrative then states, "And while he yet spake, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people. Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast. And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him" (vv 47-49).

And Jesus said unto Judas, "Friend, wherefore art thou come?"

The crowd then came, and arrested Him, and took him.

One does not need to be a Bible scholar to know what "befell Judas Iscariot."

(1) He suffered an awful death through by means of suicide.
(2) The awful manner of that was through hanging.
(3) He went to a Christless eternity.

Matthew 27:5 declares, "And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself."

The Bible says, in Acts 1:25, "Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place."

We can therefore safely consider the Knights Templar degree as anti-biblical.
